Ajith’s Viswasam Beats Vijay’s Sarkar Lifetime Collections

Ajith's Viswasam has soared to heights as it has managed to beat the lifetime collections of Vijay's Sarkar, a massive blockbuster of 2018.

Even after three weeks of release, the movie is still ruling the box office. Viswasam has turned out to be the highest grossing film of Ajith's career and is now the all-time fourth highest grossing movie at the Tamil Nadu box office. The movie is trailing behind Vijay's Mersal, Rajinikanth's 2.0 and Prabhas' Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Released on January 10, Viswasam faced tough competition from Rajinikanth's Petta yet is now inching towards surpassing the lifetime collections of Vijay's Mersal and become the third highest grossing movie at the Tamil Nadu box office.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared a tweet celebrating Viswasam's box office feat.

Directed by Siruthai Siva, Viswasam is the fourth collaboration of Ajith with the film-maker. The film features Nayanthara, Jagapati Babu and Anikha in key roles.
