Will Jr NTR, Charan Promotions Help Akhil’s Mr Majnu?
Akkineni Akhil who is trying to gain stardom has refused to give up even after his debut movie Akhil failed miserably at the box office. The fire is driving him to take up much more challenging roles to woo the audiences. His upcoming movie Mr Majnu is making all the right noises across the globe especially in the Telugu states. Just a day left for the movie to open in theatres. Advance booking for Mr Majnu has opened in most of the online portals. Reports claim that Mr.Majnu tickets have been selling like hot cakes in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Mr Majnu would be the first film from Akkineni family this year. Expectations are riding high on this movie from Akkineni fans.
People are betting big time that Jr NTR and Ram Charan promotions will help Mr Majnu do astounding business at the box office. Those who joined late to this story, Jr NTR and Ram Charan have promoted Mr Majnu during the time of movie promotions. The Aravinda Sametha actor was the guest of honor to Mr Majnu pre-release event while Ram Charan launched a song from the movie which was lapped up by music lovers. Now, it remains to be seen how far the promotions by lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan are going to help for Mr Majnu.
Directed by Venky Atluri, the film is bankrolled by BVSN Prasad. The music is scored by S.S Thaman and few of the songs have struck a chord amongst the cine buffs. It is worth mentioning here that Mr Majnu premieres are going to be held tonight in North America. It is set for a grand release on January 25 to cash in on the Republic Day weekend.
