The successful combo Ajith and Siruthai Siva are back with Viswasam. They have worked together in three movies such as Vedhalam, Veeram and Vivegam before Viswasam. All these movies including Ajith's latest outing, have created magic at the box office. Ajith's Viswasam clashed at the box office with Rajinikanth's Petta in the Pongal race. Both the movies are in a win-win situation. It is very tough to predict which one could emerge as the first hit of 2019. Petta and Viswasam are going phase by phase at the Tamil Nadu box office.

The buzz is that Viswasam is doing rock steady business not only in Indian but even on foreign shores. It is raking in moolah at the box office. Viswasam is breaking records of Tamil movies right, left and centre. It has set new benchmarks for upcoming movies at the Chennai box office. It is learnt from film critic Ramesh Bala that Viswasam is all set to reap double profits which could be more than 75%of 1st day collection i.e today.
