NTR Kathanayakudu Joins 100 Crore Club Before Release

The film has done mind-blowing pre-release in the Telugu regions. According to reliable sources, the digital rights and theatrical rights of NTR's Kathanayakudu have been sold for a fancy price of Rs 100 Crores.
The same sources inform us that the movie needs another Rs 70 crores to become a box office hit. It is worth mentioning here that NTR Kathanayakudu has been sold to Amazon Prime Video for a fancy price of Rs 25 Crores which is a record price for any Telugu movie.
Expectations are riding high on this film as it brings back director Krish and Balakrishna together after their milestone movie Gautamiputra Satakarni. NTR biopic will be made in two instalments—Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu.
The movie tells the story of Balakrishna's father NTR, the famous actor turned politician. The music has been composed by KK Keeravani and has received rave reviews. The movie boasts of a stellar cast of Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet, Rana, Nithya Menen, Sumanth will be seen in pivotal roles. The movie is set for a grand release on January 9.
