How Much Amazon Prime Will Pay For KGF Rights

Kannada actor Yash is man of the moment. His performance in the movie is making all the right noises everywhere across the nation. Yash's KGF: Chapter 1 has turned out to be the highest opener ever in his career by earning Rs 20 crores at the box office. Despite huge competition from Zero and other movies released this week, KGF has turned out to be the first choice for movie goers to enjoy this Christmas long vacation.

As you all know, of late online streaming apps like Amazon and Netflix show hit movies of the year. And, most of the regional film rights are purchased by Amazon Prime video. This year, a slew of Telugu films-Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahanati and few others were made available on Amazon online prime. Looks like, time has now come for Yash's KGF which has shaken the whole nation with unique content and gripping screenplay.

If reports are to be believed, Yash's KGF is likely to available on Amazon prime for online watch. It remains to be seen how much the makers will quote to sell the rights to Amazon Prime. Well, we aren't sure about the release date of KGF: Chapter 1 on Amazon Prime Video. It would probably be available after its theatrical run sometime in 2019. For now, the movie is running to packed houses.

Vijay Kiragandur has produced the film under the banner Hombale films. KGF is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. The film stars Srinidhi Shetty and Anantnag in prominent roles while Tamannaah Bhatia is seen in a special song.
