Only a few days left for 2018 to get over. Tollywood’s leading ladies Samantha, Anushka, Keerthy Suresh, Pooja Hegde and Rashmika have had some big releases this year. Films of all these actresses fetched good returns at the box office. Samantha, Anushka and Keerthy Suresh have managed to clinch the top three positions in 2018.

Samantha: She has been continuously working over the past one year. This year, Samantha has scored a hattrick with Mahanati, Rangasthalam and Irumbu Thirai. Currently, she is in on a much-needed break. She set the box office on fire in various avatars. She doesn't believe in Rs 200 Crore movies but aims to deliver at least two good films every year.

Anushka: Are you even surprised to see Anushka’s name on the list? Because we are not! She deserved to be on the list for her hard work in her last film Bhaagamathie. She has got out her comfort zone to be part of this film. Like big stars, Anushka too did just one film this year. Then on, she didn't sign any film. Rumors mills has it that Anushka is under medication so it takes some time for her to make a comeback on the big screen.

Keerthy Suresh: Without doubt, she had was on a career high. She featured alongside top actors—Pawan Kalyan, Suriya and Vikram. Apart from these, she was seen in a biopic of Savitri titled Mahanati where she played the titular role. The film not only wowed the critics but made the audiences go gaga over her finest performance till late in the film. She will be soon be seen as one of leading actresses in Rajamouli's dubbed RRR movie, if reports doing the rounds are any indication.

Pooja Hegde: Surprised to see her name? Pooja Hegde can perhaps thank Tollywood director Trivikram Srinivas for Aravinda Sametha as it marked the best film in her career. Jr NTR was seen in the lead role and the film became the second highest grosser of 2018 behind Rangasthalam. Currently, she is the most sought-after actress and she has two films lined up in her kitty—with Prabhas's untitled film and Mahesh Babu's Maharshi.

Rashmika: Seeing name her at the bottom of the list would be a shocker. She has become an overnight sensation after Geetha Govindam. Thanks to Vijay Deverakonda who agreed to work with her. Most of the audiences are impressed with Rashmika’s acting skills.
