Geetha Arts Next With Mahesh Not Allu Arjun

Every Tollywood producer dreams to work with superstar Mahesh Babu. He is busy for the next two years with back to back projects. Now, the latest we hear is that Mahesh is likely to do a film under the Geetha Arts banner of Allu Aravind. After Vamshi Paidipally's directorial Maharshi, the star will work with director Sukumar. His next film will be with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Allu Aravind is keen to produce this film, it is learned. But there is no official confirmation regarding this news. There are however, strong rumours doing the rounds in The town about this upcoming film since Mahesh and Sandeep were seen together on several occasions. His fans are much excited to know the details of this film because Arjun Reddy, which created a sensation audience was directed by Sandeep. Earlier, Allu Arjun was expected to do a film in his father's banner but looks like Mahesh bagged the opportunity and Bunny's upcoming film is yet to get his nod.

Currently, the director is busy with Kabir Singh, the remake of the critically acclaimed Arjun Reddy. Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani are the leads. The shooting of the film is underway in Mumbai.

Apart from that, Maharshi is being shot in Hyderabad. This big budget entertainer is jointly produced by PVP, Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt. It is learned that the budget is exceeding expectations. But the makers are not compromising on the production values, we hear. Pooja Hegde is the female lead and Sonal Chauhan plays a crucial role in the film. Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj too wil be seen playing key roles. The film has many more surprising actors. Music is being scored by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by KU Mohanan. Maharshi is slated for release on April 5, 2019.
