Superstar Rajinikanth's latest outing 2.0 is going great guns at the box office. It is a known fact, 2.0 has received glowing reviews from all quarters and largely loved by their legion of fans. According to trade reports, the film is raking in the moolah and has gone to earn Rs 500 Crores. It is known that 2.0 is the costliest film made with a budget of Rs 545 Cr as well as it directly shot in the 3D format.

Latest we hear is half of the budget was spent on remunerations of the lead actors. If reports are to be believed, producers of 2.0 paid additional payment to the artists and technicians as the film had crossed the schedule dates and extending and time and work for them.

2.O Star Remuneration

According to sources, Rajnikanth is believed to have been paid nearly 120 Cr as remuneration for the film.

While Akshay Kumar has drawn Rs 60 Cr salary package for the film.Captain of the ship Shankar who is on cloud nine over 2.0 success is set to be paid Rs 40 Cr.Amy Jackson who is seen playing as a female Robot was paid Rs 5 Cr.

Right from Rajinikanth to artists and technicians remuneration cost counted to be around Rs Rs 250 crores which has been paid by Lyca Production(Producers of the film). However, an official word about these stars remuneration is awaited.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is working round the clock for Petta's Pongal release in 2019. On the other hand, Shankar's next project Bharateeyudu 2 with Kamal Haasan is shaping up and Kajal Aggarwal has been confirmed as the Heroine.
