Superstar Rajinikanth's latest outing 2.0 is the pride of Tamil cinema. The film is creating waves at the box office. The film has become an instant blockbuster hit at the box office. The film has now marched into Rs 500 Crore club within a week at the worldwide box office. 2.0 is also having a dream run at Chennai box office too as there are no big releases lined up for release to compete with 2.0.

Now, the film is gearing up to have the widest release in China too. But, not anytime soon, it will hit screens in china in the month of May. 2Point0 will release across 10,000 theatres in the country. Finally, now, Rajinikanth is relieved with the success of 2.0 after facing a huge loss with his previous films- Kaala and Kabali which had released amid huge expectations.

Akshay Kumar who made a grand debut in Tamil with 2.0 managed to gain more fan following in the new region with his mind-blowing performance as an evil bird in the film. Audiences are flocking to theatres especially Rajini's fans repeatedly to watch the film as Thalaviar looks uber cool in the film.

Film critic Ramesh Bala has stated that 2.0 has minted Rs 85 Cr gross at the Tamil Nadu box office. The film is unstoppable not only at the domestic box office even on foreign shores. Check out this tweets posted by him:

2.0 is directed by Shankar and produced under the banner of Lya Production. Amy Jackson is seen playing the female lead in the film.
