This movie is being directed by Kartik Subbaraj of Pizza fame, known for his crisp screenplay and unexpected twists in the plot.

According to sources, Tamil director AR Murugadoss wants to direct a movie with Rajini as the leading man. AR Murugadoss has recently directed Sarkar starring Thalapathy Vijay. This movie released for Diwali met with great success. This movie is planned after the release of Petta. Lyca productions, which is making giant strides in the Tamil industry is producing the movie.

But the latest development is that AR Murugadoss movie is on a hold and the reason is none other Rajini himself. Director AR Murugadoss has narrated the script to the star and is waiting to receive a nod from the star. This movie is said to have fantasy elements in it. This proves that the movie is not yet confirmed.
