South Indian Films Rule Worldwide Box Office Courtesy Prabhas,  Rajini

After Baahubali's massive success, Prabhas fan following grew by leaps and bounds. He has delivered back to back blockbuster hits— Baahubali-The Beginning and Baahubali-The Conclusion.

His films are now giving a tough competition to films of other labelled actors across the film industries in India. We can't compare Prabhas fan following with Rajinikanth. Prabhas could be a young successful star. And it’s hard to predict if his stardom will continue or he will continue his winning streak in his new films. On the other hand, Rajinikanth holds a pan India appeal and often referred to as the king of box office right from '80s and '90s when he was an upcoming actor. These achievements always brings a cheerful smile on their fans’ faces.

Latest we hear is that Rajinikanth and Prabhas are ruling the box office not just in India but on foreign shores as well leading to South Indian cinema ruling the global box office. A huge of applause for the most talented directors-SS Rajamouli and Shankar. Baahubali and 2point0 has mint good profits at the box office. Baahubali is a period drama for which Rajamouli and Prabhas dedicated four years of their time for the series. Coming to Rajini's 2.0, the makers had to overcome many hurdles to release the film in theatres. Several times, the film’s release date changed citing VFX graphics work. As you all know besides the content of the film, VFX too plays a major and the effects in the just released 2.0 gives goosebumps to the audiences. All Prabhas fans out there, we have good news for you this Happy Weekend. Prabhas is on par with Rajinikanth. It is worth mentioning here that Prabhas's Baahubali and Rajinikanth's 2point0 have officially been declared as top two openers under Indian Films Worldwide. Here is the tweet:

2point0 was made on a budget of Rs 545 Crores. The film is yet to gain profits at the box office. The film is expected to run successfully in theatres for another two weeks as there are no new releases in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. In the third of week of this month, 2point0 will have to face Shah Rukh Khan's Zero. Meanwhile, Prabhas will come out with Saaho by end of next year around Independence Day.
