2Point0 Beats Sarkar At Chennai Box Office On Day 1

Rajinikanth's latest outing 2point0 is nothing short of being branded magnanimous. The film has kept the cash registers ringing at the box office. Rajinikanth fans can't stop raving about the film. The film has received positive word of mouth for the its relatability and unique content. On the opening day itself, the film has surpassed few Kollywood films such as Sarkar, Kaala, Mersal and Vivegam by earning Rs 2.64 Cr at Chennai box office. 2point0 has reached another milestone and broken Vijay's Sarkar which was released last month. As you all know, Sarkar is still running in few theatres. 2point0 has surpassed Sarkar record by earning Rs 2.64 Crores beating Vijay's record which had earned Rs 2.37 crores on day one at Chennai box office. With 2point0, Rajinikanth has climbed up the charts to be among the top five list of movies. Rajinikanth is numero uno with 2point0 which has shattered all records at the worldwide box office. 2point0 is directed by Shankar who has put in his heart and soul into the movie. However, his hard of the past four years seems to have paid off. Rajinikanth has given ample time to the film. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar made his debut in Kollywood with 2.0 and left people awestruck with his performance. Akshay Kumar is seen playing a villain (Dr Richard) in the film. Besides playing a scientist, Rajinikanth also plays Chitti, version 2 of Robo (Enthiran), a prequel to this.
