Badhaai Ho Beats Lifetime Collections Of Top Hindi Movies

Badhaai Ho starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra is being dubbed as the biggest blockbuster hit of 2018. The film was released on October 18. It has been running in theatres for more than one month now. Yet, the film continues to be the first choice of moviegoers.

Although there were several new releases like Saif Ali Khan's Bazaar, Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan, Sunny Deol's Mohalla Assi, Vinod Kapri's Pihu and Sunny Deol's Bhaiaji Superhit, Badhaai Ho is doing unstoppable business at the worldwide box office. According to film critic Taran Adarsh, Badhaai Ho has cruised past the lifetime collections of Akshay Kumar's hit Gold and Alia Bhatt's Raazi. It is now inching closer to crossing the lifetime collections of Shraddha Kapoor's Stree.

Badhaai Ho is a small budget film but managed to reap double profits by second weekend of its release. Overall, the total collections of the film so far is round Rs 129.45 at the domestic box office. It has become the sixth highest grosser of the year behind Sanju, Padmaavat, Race 3, Baaghi 2 and Thugs of Hindostan. Check out this tweet:
