It is a known fact that Taxiwala was hit by piracy prior to the release of the film. The film was leaked on torrents and other sites which stream pirated movies. An unedited version of the film was widely circulated amongst the audiences through mobiles. Realising the damage caused, the makers seem to have altered the final product on the edited table to keep the curiosity of the film intact while maintaining the gist of the film intact.
