Fans of Superstar Mahesh Babu are elated with the speculation on the sale of his upcoming film Maharshi's digital, satellite and Hindi dubbing rights. Ever since the official announcement on director Vamsi Paidipally's directorial, Mahesh's fans have been on cloud nine in the backdrop of Bharat Ane Nenu's success. While the Tollywood town was eagerly waiting for latest updates on Mahesh Maharshi, speculation went rife over the sale of digital rights of the movie for astonishingly high prices.

It is believed that the Telugu satellite rights of the movie were sold to Gemini TV for Rs 26 crore and the Hindi satellite rights cost Rs 25 crore. Mahesh Maharshi's Amazon Prime rights were believed to be sold for Rs 12 crore. All in all, the total non-theatrical business of the movie was valued at over Rs 63 crore whereas the global pre-release business is expected to be Rs 170 crore. Touted to break the non-Baahubali records, the Mahesh Babu film is set to break Bharat Ane Nenu's collection record within a week's time from release, it is said by analysts.

Producer Dil Raju, who is keen on encashing the success of Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu with Maharshi, is happy with the business.

Maharshi is slated to be released on April 5,2019. Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh will appear in prominent roles. Watch this space for more updates on Mahesh Maharshi.
