Pandem Kodi 2

Pandem Kodi, the raging successful film released in 2005 is back with a sequel Pandem Kodi 2. The same key cast and director remain, while this time many more interesting characters have been added to the plot.

Story:

The story unfolds in Kadapa where Raja Reddy (Rajkiran), is seen as a staunch man of the masses whose main concern is people’s well-being. Vishal reprises the role of his dutiful son from the first part. Pairing up with him this time is Keerthy Suresh as his love interest. Bhavani (Varalakshmi Sarathkumar), is the leading antagonist in the movie. Meanwhile, will Balu aka Vishal will be able to succeed in saving the youth forms the crux of the story.

Main plot:

Beginning with some uber cool fight sequences this movie goes at a fast pace. It delivers the action quotient very well catering to the gallery. With some good to excellent performances from the cast, this movie has a good beginning. Vishal is seen at ease in all the action sequences. Rajkiran and Keerthy support the plot making it easy for the leading man. Rajkiran essays another noteworthy role in the movie as a landlord and loving father. Keerthy is a livewire and fits the romance part well complementing the action sequences.

Another main character in the story is of Varalaksmi’s who also leaves a commendable mark.

Defects: Too many twists ruin the second half and fights you lose count of. Film goers should go for it if they are up for action and little romance.

Technical aspects: The ace director comes back with a bang, after a few failures in the recent past. DoP also is to be credited for good frames. Action director also did a good job.
