Vijay Deverakonda's latest outing NOTA has been hitting the headlines over the last few days for various reasons. The film was released on October 5 across the world. The film has received mixed reviews from several quarters. Yet NOTA is doing stupendous business at the ticket counters.

A reliable source informs us that, NOTA has earned Rs 4 Crores on is opening day at the box office. The film has kept the cash registers ringing at the box office ever since its release. NOTA is said to be Vijay Deverakonda second highest opening movie after Arjun Reddy.

Looking at the current scenario, it appears NOTA has the ability to break a few records at the box office. Latest we hear is that Vijay Deverakonda NOTA has created a new record in Nizam area. On top of that, NOTA has beaten Geetha Govindam Nizam collection and went on to earn 1.95 Cr which is a huge figure when compared to other areas.

The film had generated positive buzz amongst the movie buffs with teaser and trailers. But it failed to live up to the audiences expectations. A few section of the audience feels the Telugu version's lukewarm response is due to the censor cuts that has killed the spirit of the movie.

NOTA is directed by Anand Shankar whose last film in Telugu was Vishnu's Dynamite. Veteran actors Nassar and Sathya Raj are seen in important roles. Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is seen playing Bijay's love interest in the film.Watch this space for updates on movies.
