Deepthi Elimination Bigg Boss Telugu 2: Much has been talked about the possible eviction of Deepthi Nallamothu from the Bigg Boss House in the last 48 hours. News about Deepthi's elimination before the grand finale on Sunday was doing rounds on social media. Several trolls and memes about Deepthi's exit from the House surprised many, although it was seen as an attempt to cast an end to the fuss around the fake voting controversy in Bigg Boss.

Last week, it was announced by anchor Nani that Deepthi received the highest voting percentage, more than that of strongest contestants Kaushal and Geetha Madhuri. Reports suggested Deepthi hired Ramit IT Solutions, a Hyderabad-based company, which was allegedly carrying out the fake voting exercise in favour of their client. However, the company's representatives clarified that the news about fake news was not true and went on to file a complaint with the cyber crime police.

The news about Deepthi's elimination was largely circulated in social media accounts which were in favour of Kaushal. As per analysts, a section of Bigg Boss which largely coincides with the Kaushal Army calibrated the fake news about Deepthi's elimination with a plan to improve Kaushal's vote count. If one goes by the social media trend in the last few weeks, the fight for the Bigg Boss Telugu 2 winner's title was poised to be between Kaushal and Deepthi. With respect to Kaushal's chances of winning the Bigg Boss title, Deepthi was seen as the biggest threat and not Geetha Madhuri.

The Bigg Boss 2 Telugu Grand Finale will be a contest between the last four contestants who remain in the House. If Deepthi's elimination news is true, the organisers would go by the popular vote to choose the highest voted contestant from among Kaushal, Tanish, Geetha Madhuri and Samrat. Fans of Geetha Madhuri and Kaushal went a step ahead in promoting their favourite contestant by sharing posters of 'Vote for Geetha' and 'Vote for Kaushal' slogans across the Telugu States.
