Case Filed Against Kaushal Army Over Deepthi Fake Voting

Bigg Boss Telugu 2 final week: Much has been said about Deepthi Nallamothu's fake voting controversy in the last few days. However, it appears that it is time to settle the issue now that we are at the brink of Bigg Boss 2 Telugu final week. Of all contestants -- Kaushal, Geetha Madhuri, Samrat, Tanish and Deepthi, the audience is worried about Deepthi's credibility in the House and her performance per se. Last week, Deepthi, to the surprise of many, received the topped the list with highest voting among the contestants who have been nominated for elimination. The voting numbers suggested that Deepthi outran Kaushal and Geetha Madhuri, the two most competitive members in the House.

Long before Deepthi was announced as the participant with the highest number of votes that week, social media was abuzz with speculation over a dedicated team in a Hyderababad-based company that works in the area of promotions, fueling fake votes using fake email IDs. Several posts emerged on social media indicating paid voting for Deepthi by this firm. Last week, Deepthi broke Kaushal's record in voting.

Meanwhile, Sriram Latish, Managing Director, Ramit Solutions, the company in question, filed a complaint with the cyber crime police in this regard. In a letter to the police, Sriram mentioned that Deepthi was the company's client.

"We have been providing page promotion for the last one year about Deepthi in a fair way which caught the ire of a section of social media, who were under the notion that we are responsible for having a negative propaganda against other contestants. But, in reality, we have no role in any kind of propaganda. The news about the propaganda has tarnished our company's image," he said in the letter.

The company MD added that he had received threatening calls from a number of people and that he was scared of being physically attacked.

Enclosing a list of phone numbers from which he had received threats, Sriram further said that he would like to lead a peaceful life away from the hullabaloo.
