Samantha's upcoming thriller U-Turn is one of the highly awaited films of the ever since the film's trailer went out, moviebuffs can't wait for its release. Samantha's U-Turn has struck the right chord with the audiences and fans with its trailer and posters. The film is a remake of the Kannada hit by the same name.

Samantha is busy promoting U-Turn on every social media platform and giving exclusive interviews to various channels. Advance booking of tickets in theatres has opened in most of the areas. Tickets are likely to be sold out this weekend as employees and students would have festive holidays and a long weekend given that tomorrow is Ganesh Chaturhti. The film has created a positive buzz amongst movie buffs. With brand Samantha, Aadhi and Bhumika, the film is likely to break some records at the ticket window.

U-Turn is touted to be a suspense thriller which marks the debut of director Pawan Kalyan and will be released in Tamil and Telugu. As we already said U-turn is the official remake of Kanada film with same title. While speaking to media, Samantha revealed that it is an adaptation of original Kannada version but climax has been changed to attract the audiences. It would be a major highlight of the film, she adds. After seeing the buzz surrounding the film and attention from the audiences, trade pundits predict that Samantha's U-Turn will fetch approximately Rs 5 Cr at the box office on its opening day. This, taking into consideration the festive holiday.

Samantha has been on a roll this year with back to back films-Rangasthalam, Mahanati and Irumbu Thirai all of which have gone on to become blockbuster hits.
