Geetha Govindam Creates History In Nizam  

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika are basking in the success of their latest outing Geetha Govindam which is doing excellent business at the box office.The film has managed to collect Rs 10 Crores at the US box office. Coming to the domestic box office, the film has reportedly touched approximately Rs 55 Cr mark at the box office. We shall update exact figures shortly.

Looking at the current scenario, it appears Geetha Govindam is all set to beat some of the records set by other Telugu movies and set to create history. As you all know, Ganesh Chaturthi brings in not just festive mood but holiday mood too. The long weekend is likely to work in the film's favour to draw more audience at the ticket window.

Latest we hear is that, Geetha Govindam is gearing up to create a history in the Nizam region. According to sources, so far, Geetha Govindam has earned Rs 19 Cr from Nizam area alone. By end of this weekend, the Vijay Deverakonda starrer is likely to touch the Rs  20 Cr mark which is set to be a add another feather in the lead actor's cap. Though, Tollywood top stars have delivered a slew of blockbuster hits at the box office, None of them have reached this feat which is a huge achievement for Vijay Deverakonda and his film Geetha Govindam.

Geetha Govindam is about two youngsters who meet on the bus. Even though it's love at first sight for the hero, an accidental kiss leads to a misunderstanding making the heroine hate the hero through the movie. The film has received rave reviews from film critics and loved by all the section of audiences. The film was directed by Parasuram and produced by Allu Aravind under the banner of Geetha Arts.
