Prabhas

Prabhas always grabs the headlines—be it for his films or his personal life. Prabhas is one of the finest actors in Tollywood. And those close to him say that he's considered the darling of the masses as he has a heart of gold. He enjoys a massive fan following across the world, a fact you all know. His crackling chemistry with co-stars and comic timing in all his films such as-Darling, Mirchi, Baahubali series has made him one of the most talented and bankable stars in the industry today.

Kerala State Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran recently expressed his unhappiness about the donations made by Malayalam actors to flood relief fund. “We have superstars in our state. I have heard they get paid Rs 3-4 crore for a film. But, they all have to learn from actor (Prabhas) from Andhra (Pradesh), who is not really connected to Malayalam cinema but still donated Rs 1 crore. The actor didn't hesitate one bit. He heard about the tragedy and came forward to help,” said Surendran at the event, which was presided over by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

He called upon people to take a leaf out of Prabhas's life. Besides Prabhas, Tamil director Raghava Lawerence too donated Rs 1 Cr to the relief fund. Several Tollywood stars like Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun have made their contribution of Rs 25 lakhs for the cause. Several other celebrities too did their bit by making a significant contribution to the Kerala flood relief flood. Kerala is right now reeling under the outbreak of 'rat fever' caused by flood water. The Kerala state government is taking necessary steps to control the disease and making all efforts to provide the best medicine to its citizens.

Coming back to Prabhas, the actor will be next seen in Saaho which will be released in Telugu, Tamil and could be dubbed into Hindi too. The film has a stellar cast of Bollywood star Neil Nitin Mukesh as a baddie while Shraddha Kapoor will play Prabhas's love interest in the film. Saaho was initially slated to release in January 2019. However, the makers have now postponed the release to April 2019. Prabhas fans are going gaga over his appreciation from minister for his helping hand. It's certainly a reason to cheer about as Prabhas is growing in stature not only because of his upward career graph but also because of his mannerisms and kind gestures such as this.
