Sye Raa Will Break Baahubali Records in AP: Film Critic

Megastar Chiranjeevi's forthcoming flick Sye Raa is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Chiranjeevi was last seen in Khaidi No.150 which earned a whopping Rs 104 Cr at the box office.

The film which was released last year, turned out to be a commercial hit. Ever since Sye Raa was officially announced there was buzz that the film could get bigger than Baahubali. Sye Raa is touted to be based on the life journey of freedom fighter from Rayalaseema, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Only two days left for Chiranjeevi's birthday. The makers of Sye Raa and the film's producer Ram Charan are planning something big to treat the audiences on Chiru's birthday.

Few days back, filmmakers of Sye Raa officially announced that the film's teaser would be out on August 22. The makers are working on it and we hear they now have the final cut of the teaser. A member of Dubai censor board Umair Sandhu has managed to watch the first cut. He has shared his first review on Sye Raa teaser. Take a look at his tweets:

Sye Raa has a potential to break the record set by Rajamouli's Baahubali. So far, many Tollywood and Bollywood films have released but none of them could surpass the records set by the Rajamouli flick. It remains to be seen if Chiru's Sye Raa could break Baahubali records. If Sye Raa breaks Baahubali records as per predictions then it would be another honor for Telugu film in terms of setting a new benchmark.

Sye Raa is being shot on a lavish budget and is is said to be produced with an investment of 400 Cr approximately. Sye Raa is being helmed by Surender Reddy and produced by Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan. Nayanthara will be seen playing the leading lady opposite Chiru. Tamannaah and Sudeep have been roped in to play an important role in the film. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan too will appear in a key role.

For the first time, Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan are all set to share screen space in Sye Raa. Expectations are riding high on this film and the buzz is that if Bollywood Badshah has given his nod to the Chiru film, then there must be something interesting in Sye Raa. The film will hit the big screens next year around April. Chiru's Sye Raa and Mahesh's Maharshi would have an epic clash at the summer box office. Stay tuned for updates.
