Rajamouli

Maverick director SS Rajamouli needs no introduction. His films say a lot about him. He is one of the most talented directors in Tollywood. So far, Rajamouli has made innumerable films and all of them turned out to be huge money spinners at the box office.

Rajamouli's last offering Baahubali-The Conclusion was the first film to have introduced Rs 1200 Cr club to Indian films. Baahubali-The Conclusion was a huge hit and gained acclaim from audience worldwide. Audiences have been waiting to hear the details of his next project. A few months back, Rajamouli announced his next film tentatively titled #RRR, a multistarrer featuring Ram Charan and NTR.

There was a strong buzz on social media circles that Mahesh could make a guest appearance in Rajamouli's #RRR. But the latest we heard was that Mahesh Babu would lend his voiceover to the film. But Rajamouli is yet to make an official announcement about this.

If the grapevine doing the rounds in Telugu filmnagar circles is anything to go by then Rajamouli might have plans to rope in Vijay Deverakonda in RRR. Are you wondering what made us think so. Well, recently, the Magadheera director watched Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam and sent congratulatory messages to him.

Check out his tweet...

If one were to go by his tweet, it's evident that Rajamouli was superimpressed with Deverakonda's acting skills. There are high chances that Deverakonda could play an important role in Rajamouli's multi-starrer. We all know that the director has a tendency to give mileage to a talent when he spots one. Remember how he roped in kannada Sudeep to do a cameo in Baahubali, the beginning? Sudeep played a baddie in Rajamouli's Eega which was a super duper hit.

Now, if all goes well, then we get to see the work of four stars in the film—NTR, Charan, Mahesh and Deverakonda. Looks like RRR could get bigger than Baahubali in terms of lead cast.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli's RRR is in pre-production stage and it is expected to go on floors shortly. Once NTR and Charan complete their present movie schedules with Boyapati and Trivikram films respectively. Watch this space for updates.
