Ranbir Kapoor's latest offering Sanju is breaking several records at the box office. The film got a massive opening raking in a whopping Rs 43 Crores on its first day going on to set a new benchmark for other films at the Bollywood box office.

Ever since M.S. Dhoni biopic registered record collections at the ticket window. the love for biopics has been on the rise.

The same happened with a recent Telugu release too— Keerthy Suresh's Mahanati. After box office numbers justified biopics, many life stories are already on cards.

Sanju has officially joined the Rs 200 Cr club at the domestic box office on day seven at the ticket window. It is the first film of Ranbir to enter to join the Rs 200 Cr club. We shall update area-wise collection shortly.

Ranbir's Sanju is the seventh Bollywood film in 2018 to have entered the Rs 100 Cr club after Padmaavat, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Raid, Baaghi 2, Raazi and Race 3. Sanju is loved by the audiences and impressed the critics. Audiences are gushing about Ranbir's character in the film.
