Director Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju which stars Ranbir in the lead role is doing exceptionally well at the box office. The film has been receiving a thumping response from the audiences, love from the critics and heaps of praises from Bollywood celebrities.

Sanju has kept the cash registers ringing at the box office since day 1. And the film continues to create waves at the box office. Sanju now stands second for highest opening weekend after Baahubali-The Conclusion at the Indian box office.

Sanju is the real life story of Sanjay Dutt, his jail life and hardships thereafter. Ranbir and other cast of the film are basking in the success of Sanju which is inching towards the Rs 200 Crore club.

Yesterday, the makers also held the success party of Sanju which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood.

Meanwhile, Ranbir is busy with the shoot of his next flick Brahmastra which is shaping up well. The film also features Ranbir Kapoor's rumored girl friend Alia Bhatt in the lead role along with Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. The film is slated for release early next year in 2019.
