Ranbir Kapoor's latest outing Sanju is going great guns at the box office. the film opened in theatres on June 29. Within no time, Sanju has achieved two milestones—joining the Rs 50 Cr and Rs 100 Cr club at the box office. The film is racing towards touching the Rs 150 Cr milestone at the domestic box office while it is inching towards $2 million at the overseas box office. Sanju has become the first blockbuster hit in the second quarter of 2018. The film has turned out to the highest opener in Ranbir's career.

With each passing day, Sanju is reaching setting a new benchmark at the box office. It is worth mentioning here that Sanju has dethroned top five opening weekend collections of 2018 at Australia box office. It is worth mentioning here that Sanju has bagged the second spot among top five films in the list. Sanju has surpassed Salman Khan's Kaala, Rajinikanth's Kaala and his sister Kareena Kapoor Khan's Veeri Di Wedding which is a huge feat for Ranbir Kapoor. But, Sanju failed to beat Padmaavat collections at the Australian box office. Yet, It is celebration time for fans.

Padmaavat: It is a period drama featuring Deepika Padukone in the titular role. The film also featured Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles. The film raked in a whopping $ 1,728,642 at the Australian box office alone in its opening weekend.

Sanju: The film is all about the real-life story of veteran actor Sanjay Dutt. It is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Sarbh, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film has managed to collect A$931,947 at the box office.

Race 3: The film was released on the occasion of Eid but the film neither appealed to the audience, nor earned any love from the audiences or critics. Though, the film earned enough bucks at the box office. It still turned out to be a disaster at the ticket window. The film went on to collect A$495,373.

Kaala: After Kabali, Rajinikanth fans and audience had pinned huge expectations on this filmm. But the film did miserably at the box office due to lukewarm response and bad reviews from audiences. The film collected A$ 402,213 at the box office.

Veere Di Wedding: Kareena Kapoor's comeback film which did fabulous business at the box office without any lead actor. Kareena Kapoor, Sonam kapoor, ShikhaTalsania and Swara Bhaskar were seen in lead roles. The film raked in A$ 341,118 in the opening weekend at the autsralian box office.
