Jr.NTR is not just a bankable star in Tollywood but also a household name. His simplicity and choice of roles have a connect with the audiences. And after his appearance on the TV reality show Bigg boss, he's even a sought after host for shows on the small screen.

The season 2 of Telugu Bigg Boss 2 started a few days back. Although the content of Telugu Bigg Boss 2 is engaging and turning out to be interesting by the day, that has done little to appease the audiences missing NTR as the host. The season 2 host Nani is giving his best to make the show interesting, yet the general talk in Telly circles is that the show lacks the spark. Also perhaps people were used to NTR, it may not be easy for the audience to accept a change of host.

It's a known fact that NTR rejected the offer to host Bigg Boss 2 Telugu due to his personal and professional commitments.

So far, Bigg Boss 2 has completed 22 episodes. The show has received lukewarm response from the audience. Nani is doing his best to get the best TRPs for the show, despite all his efforts the show has failed to achieve the numbers that NTR managed in the first season.

When NTR made his small screen debut on Bigg Boss as the host, the pilot episode garnered a whopping 16.18 points and thereafter there was a gradual decline to 9.24 ratings which was maintained throughout the show.

When Telugu Bigg Boss 2 season was first aired, Nani too achieved good ratings for very first episode 15.05. However, the show's daily TRPs right now reportedly stands at 7.93 which is average when compared to other reality shows.

If reports doing the rounds are anything to go by, NTR is most likely to appear as a guest on Bigg Boss 2 to salvage TRP ratings as well as to have spice up the show for the new contestants on season 2. However, official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

Meanwhile, NTR is finishing back to back scenes for his forthcoming flick Aravinda Sametha which is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas. It is worth mentioning here that the naming cermony of NTR's second kid will be held on July 4 or 5.
