It is doing exceptionally well at the domestic and international box office. Bharat Ane Nenu is directed by Koratala Siva who has collaborated with Mahesh for the second time after Srimanthudu. Both the films under their combo have become highest grossing Telugu films at USA box office and is among top ten films. These two films Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu have bagged the spot among top five positions at overseas box office.

The film has managed to collect $554 and total gross of the film is $3,410,019 at the ticket window.

Bharat Ane Nenu is a story about a Ivy League passout who accidentally becomes chief minister of Andhra Pradesh due to his father's sudden demise. For the first time, Mahesh has tried a different genre and proved at the box office and among the audiences that he can fit the bill perfectly for any role.
