Engineering Student’s Overspeeding Car Runs Over Man sleeping On Pavement
A group of youngsters in an inebriated state created ruckus on the streets of Hyderabad on Sunday night. The over-speeding car run over a cobbler sleeping on the pavement. This unfortunate footpath accident has been reported from Kushaiguda near ECIL. The victim, identified as Ashok died on the spot while another suffered severe injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The girl who was drunk lost control of her skoda car when the mishap happened, it is learned. Police said they have registered a case and conducting further investigations. The CCTV footage in the area was being scanned.
The police who learnt of this rushed to the spot and took the youth into their custody. The four youngsters in the car are pursuing engineering course. Reportedly, the person at the wheels responsible for the accident, is said to be the daughter of a police official. The localites allege that the cops are trying to protect the culrpits.
