Elepant tramples woman to death

A 50-year-old woman was trampled to death by an elephant in Chittoor district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased woman identified as Obamma.
The incident took place in the morning when an elephant herd attacked the woman when she was working in a filed.
She died on the spot. This incident created tension in the villages. Only four days ago a farmer and forest employee attacked in a same way.Forest officials are now touring in the villages with firearms to ward off stray elephants.
