Dy Mayor’s Car Violates Traffic Rules, Police Turn Blind Eye 

Hyderabad: In gross violation of traffic rules, Hyderabad Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin was spotted plying without registration number plate on the city roads. However, the traffic police failed to notice the vehicle which is plying on roads with a temporary registration number.

Baba Fasiuddin's new car Toyota Innova violated the rule by putting the plate inscribed — "Deputy Mayor GHMC" in the place of the registration number. The temporary number plate is put out further down.

The 35-year-old TRS leader was first elected as corporator from Borabanda constituency and later handpicked by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, unanimously electing him Deputy Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in 2016.

Fasiuddin is learnt to have been suffering from illness for the past one week. Ministers, corporators, TRS leaders called him on at his residence wishing him early recovery.
