DS will be sold away to KCR : Rajalingam

The disputes among Congress MLCs were broken out during the election of Congress floor leader of Telangana Legislative Council on Tuesday.

MLC Rajalingam said that he was opposing the election of D.Srinivas as the floor leader of Telangana legislative council.

He blamed that D.Srinivas do not attend the council proceedings generally.

Rajalingam also said that D.Srinivas would be sold away to Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao at sometime in future.

“I was offered an amount of Rs.10 lakh rupees for supporting D.Srinivas for the post. I rejected the amount,” said the MLC.

He blasted Congress high command for giving the key posts to some leaders in the name of seniority without considering their usefulness to the party.

However, D.Srinivas said that he was elected to the post only after taking into consideration the opinions of all MLCs. “AICC president Sonia Gandhi was also consulted before my election to the post,” said D.Srinivas.

“Our party high command has asked Shabbir Ali and me to work together for the betterment of the party. All the MLCs will put in a combined effort eventhough we have some differences of opinion among us,” said D.Srinivas.

He declared that they would fight over the anti people policies of TRS government.
