Hyderabad: In yet another a drunk and drive accident, a speeding has rammed a motor-cycle under Rayadurgam police station limits on Saturday night, killing a person and injuring another. It is learnt that Jenny Jacob (26) was partying inside the car while driving, along with her friend Lisa. The accident killed Borabanda resident Chiranjeevi (20) and injured Ramanathi Sai Kumar.

According to the police, Jenny and Lisa, native of New Delhi, are IT employees in a company located at Madhapur. They live in Blossom Apartments in Kokapet. They hired a Hyundai Creta from Zoomcar in the city, driving under the influence of alcohol, Jenny headed towards Rayadurgam from Madhapur via the under construction T-Hub. The over speeding car collided with a Honda Activa, on which Chiranjeevi and Sai Kumar were travelling.

Chiranjeevi and Sai Kumar were severely injured after the accident. They were shifted to a hospital and Chiranjeevi died while undergoing treatment, while Sai Kumar's conditional is said to be critical.

After hitting the motor-cycle, the car has overturned thrice. The car has been reportedly damaged completely but the air bags came to the rescue of Jenny and Lisa, according to the police. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
