The SIT questioning of film actress Charmme Kaur in the infamour drugs scandal that is causing tremors in Tollywood, ended exactly at 5 pm as per the High Court order. Charmme was questioned for six hours. The SIT officials recorded her statement and told her that she might have to attend the probe as and when required.

Interestingly, Charmme was quite relaxed and was in a happy mood while leaving the Abkari Bhavan. She greeted the onlookers with a wide grin.

Charmme was believed to have been asked about her links to Calvin, who is believed to be the lynchpin in the drugs case. She was also asked about her links with director Puri Jagan and if she took drugs. She was also asked questions about Calvin's relations with other Tollywood personalities.

Following a direction by the Hyderabad High Court to deploy women officers to question Charmme, the department has posted an assistant excise superintendent and three inspectors to conduct the interrogation. The actress who challenged the legality of the interrogation in the court also sought permission to take along her advocate to the investigation office at Abkari Bhavan but the court refused it.

Earlier in the day, in an obvious move to show that she was not perturbed by all the controversy surrounding the investigation, Charmme showed an absolute cool before entering the SIT office in Nampally. She left home around 6 am and went to Paisa Vasool shooting spot at Kondapur which is being directed by Puri Jagannadh.

She arrived at the SIT office at around 10am along with her lawyer and her bodyguards. However, the actress was escorted into the investigation cell by the security personnel of the department and her lawyer and bouncers were made to wait outside.

On entering the Abkari Bhavan, there was some jostling and one of the constables touched her inappropriately. Charmme promptly complained to the SIT officials about it. The SIT officials immediately shifted the constable out of the Abkari Bhavan.
