If the grapevine is to be believed, the makers of mega Star Chiranjeevi's much-hyped film Sye Raa, wish to cast her in the film. They have approached her to play the female lead in the film.

Nayanthara it is learnt, had earlier lent her consent in principle, but is unable to fit it into her schedule now. Is she beginning to have second thoughts? If these rumours are indeed true, does it mean that she really does not have the time to assign dates to the film from her schedule? Is it remuneration which is proving to be a bone of contention or is it the talk, as is being speculated, that she will be seen as a "senior" actress if she acts with mega star Chiranjeevi in Sye Raa? Sye Raa is said to be one of the biggest projects after Rajamouli's Baahubali installments. The movie is being helmed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan. Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep and many others are expected to play important roles in the film.
