Distribution of fish prasadam begins

A day after the AP High Court granted relief to Bathini Mrigasira Trust by suspending the order of the AP Lokayukta, thousands of people have been thronging Nampally exhibition grounds hoping to get a relief from asthma.

Latest reports say that the distribution of the famous fish prasadam has just begun.

Elaborate arrangements have been made at the grounds to prevent stampede as thousands of people from across the country come to swallow the yellow paste (murrel fingerling) that is stuffed into their mouth.

According to reports, 22,000 tokens have been issued so far and people are waiting in long queues.
