Visakhapatnam: Differences between Andhra Pradesh Ministers Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu and Ganta Srinivas Rao took a new turn as the latter dashed off a letter to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu complaining against Ayyanna Patrudu's allegations against the TDP government.

Ganta complained to Naidu that Ayyanna Patrudu has been making baseless allegations about the Vizag land scam, Vizag Utsav, land pooling and welfare schemes like Chandranna Kanukalu. Ganta mentioned in his letter that the government is facing severe embarrassment due to the remarks by Ayyanna Patrudu.

Recently, when the land scam was busted in Vizag city, Minister Ayyanna Patrudu had caused a flutter by convening a press conference to claim that the local TDP leaders were involved in the scam, Ganta recalled.

Thus, Ayyanna Patrudu provided fodder for the opposition parties to slam the state government, Ganta claimed. Srinivasa Rao expressed anger stating that the image of Andhra Pradesh state and Visakhapatnam were being dented due to these baseless allegations.

The Minister also wanted Chandrababu Naidu to launch a probe into the land scams with the CB-CID, the CBI or with the sitting judge of the High Court.
