Devineni Rajasekhar Meets Chandrababu Naidu, All Set to Join TDP

Vijayawada: Congressman Devineni Rajasekhar (Nehru) met Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Tuesday, with speculation doing the rounds that he is all set to don the yellow scarf.

On Sunday, Nehru held meeting with his followers on the issue of his joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). An ardent follower of late NT Rama Rao, Nehru was with TDP before he switched loyalties to the Congress party in 1997 under the leadership of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. He has been keeping a low profile since the 2014 Assembly elections, when he lost contesting on the Congress ticket.
