Despite injury, Balakrishna attends assembly session

Hindupur MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna pleasantly surprised everyone in the Assembly by making it a point to attend the assembly despite an injury that necessitated seven stiches.

Balayya recently suffered an injury while doing a bike stunt during a film shoot. 

The actor-turned-politician said he had seven stitches and doctors have removed the stitches only on Monday.
"Injuries are common for me. I can recall at least one minor injury for a film," he said. Replying to a question, Balayya said that he has not planned anything for his 100th film. "I don't run after the directors. Directors have to run after me. If I like a script, I can act with anyone. I don't need a big name just for the sake of records," he said adding that he was aware his fans are awaiting announcement on the 100th film.
