Denduluru MLA Booked For Manhandling Sub-Inspector

Eluru: A case was filed on Government Whip and Denduluru MLA Chinatamaneni Prabhakar for allegedly manhandling a sub-inspector on Sunday night at Devarapalli in West Godavari district.

The SI J. Paparao who was on duty at a temple Jatara in the village was diverting traffic from the area due to huge public near the temple. At the time, MLA Prabhakar reached the area and he was asked to divert his car by the police. The MLA abused him and allegedly manhandled the SI for asking him to divert his car.

Police registered a case under various sections of IPC.
