Demolition At AP Secretariat Again; Canteen Razed To Ground

Amaravati: Once again Andhra Pradesh Secretariat at Velagapudi village is in the news. The Secretariat canteen was razed to the ground by the CRDA officials. The demolition process began on Tuesday without any prior intimation to the canteen owners. The members running the canteen expressed their ire on minister Narayana over being tight-lipped and restraining from making any remarks at this impetuous decision.

The canteen owners have spent Rs25 lakh and took it on lease for three years. Although CRDA officials are yet to comment but bad ‘vastu’ is citied as the reason for the demolition.
