According to the details given by DCP Avinash Mahanti, Hari Satish, a resident of Tilaknagar, was seeking for a vehicle loan last year. In the process, he got a call saying it was from ‘Central Finance Company’ and were offering vehicle loans at low interest rates. Later, Hari Satish was made to believe and furnished all his personal details including his Aadhaar, bank accounts details including a few passport size photos of him to the fraudsters.

The Delhi-based cyber criminal, after collecting the personal data of loan seekers via online, was resorting to cheat by conning them out of lakhs of rupees in the name of processing fees.

Police during their investigation found that the crime was carried out from Delhi and left for the national capital to launch a manhunt for the accused. They finally traced and arrested the criminal Sanjeev Kumar who belongs to Mohan Garden in Delhi on Monday.

After producing the accused in the local court in Delhi, police shifted him to Hyderabad on transit bail on the previous day.
