Kamineni has asked students, who availed of PG medical seats, to join the courses without fail.

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh government has clarified that there was no issue in AP EAMCET, but delay in EAMCET-2 would be a loss to Andhra students. AP Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas said that EAMCET was conducted smoothly.

Saying that any delay in Telangana EAMCET will be a loss for AP students, Kamineni added: “We have postponed option entry in medical seats. If Telangana students join in 15 percent open quota, it’ll dampen the interests of AP students.”

Kamineni has asked students, who availed of PG medical seats, to join the courses without fail.

“PG medical students should submit their original certificates. If they cancel their seats, they have to pay Rs 2 lakh otherwise they’re not entitled to received the original certificates. Several students opt for seats in counselling and don’t join the courses later. This is resulting in a major loss to other students.”
