Decision on Telangana in a month: Shinde

The much hyped all-party meeting in New Delhi  on Telangana concluded around 11.35 am after deliberating for one-and-half hours.

Addressing a press conference after the meeting Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said " A decision will be taken within a month. we have heard the members of various parties. we have noted their views and will brief the government about it. Several parties said that the decision should be given as early as possible. I will come out with the decision within a month."

When reporters asked about what the parties said their stand, he replied that " I don't want to say who said what at the meeting. This is not forum to speak on those aspects."

When the media persons asked the home minister  if there will another all-party meeting, Shinde said "this is the last meeting. I am fully satisfied."

Sources say that all the parties have expressed their opinion in favour of Telangana.
