Decision on Telangana before May 10, says Palvai

Senior Congress leader and MP Palvai Govardhan Reddy on Tuesday made a surprising announcement on Telangana separate statehood.

He said the Centre would take a decision on Telangana before May 10. Speaking to the media, the MP said that if there was  no announcement in favour of Telangana, some leaders would quit the party.

He also said that the leaders may include Komatireddy brothers and two others would leave the Congress party. When the reporters stressed on the two leaders naming Jaipal Reddy and Jana Reddy, he said Jaipal Reddy and Jana Reddy would not leave the party as they have lot of faith on the party leadership.
