Day One Of Praja Sankalpa Yatra Ends, Thousands Greet YS Jagan

Day One of Praja Sankalpa Yatra, Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s mass outreach programme, ended at Kumurampalli village in YSR district. YS Jagan, who began his walkathon from YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya, walked for a distance of 8.9 km on the first day.

The yatra began on Monday at 9.47 am from Idupulapaya. A large number of supporters from the twin Telugu states, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka came to express their solidarity with YS Jagan. YS Jagan thanked them profusely for their overwhelming support. He covered areas like Maruthinagar, Veerannagattupale and Kumurampalem village. He will halt for the night and will resume his yatra on Tuesday.

At Veerannagattupalli, YS Jagan unfurled the party flag in the presence of thousands of party workers and supporters. A large number of party workers from across the state dotted the route and welcomed YS Jagan.

YS Jagan will visit Idupulapaya-Vempalli Road, Vempalli, YS Colony, Kadapa Proddatur village, Sarvarajapeta and Galeru Nagari Canal on Tuesday, the second day of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra. He will halt at the camp site in Neelatimmayipalle on the Vempalli-Proddatur Road at 8.30 pm. The yatra would begin at 8.30 am and will halt for lunch at 12.20 pm. He will resume his yatra again at 3.30 pm.
