Dasari takes a dig at Chiru in a veiled reference

That Union minister Chiranjeevi and former minister Dasari Narayana Rao do not see eye to eye was a much speculated debate in the Telugu film industry till recently. But the recent turn of events has pushed the rift between the two into the open!

Speaking at the book launch of My days with Bhasa, Dasari made a remark saying, he was responsible for many people to get an address! He also claimed to have given opportunities to many who hadn't got a chance to show their talent. And a person who would run to my house several times in the bicycle before becoming a hero, now thinks that 'Dasari doesn't stand up when he sees me!"

The grapevine in the industry suggests that Dasari is referring to actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi.
Buzz is that Dasari also criticized the Akkineni family indirectly referring to a film studio in Hyderabad. After the long struggle, we brought the Telugu industry from Chennai to here and now the industry remains trapped in the hands of some families, he said.

He also made it clear that late NT Rama Rao was the only superstar in the Telugu film industry and Rajinikanth in Kollywood.
