Damodar Raja Narasimha urges Governor to convene Assembly

Amid talks over proroguing the State Assembly House, Deputy CM Damodar Rajanarasimha wrote a letter to Governor Narasimhan on Thursday, requesting him to outwit conspiracies to delay Telangana process.

“Please act on the designs of the leaders to prorogue the Assembly,” he requested the governor in his letter.
He further stated in his letter that, the President Pranab Mukherjee may, at anytime, ask the opinion of the State Assembly on the bifurcation. He urged the governor to be proactive in toppling the plots and convene the Assembly properly to get the opinion of the house on Telangana issue.
"As per the article 174(1), Bill will come before Assembly and Council before December 20," he added in his letter.
