Dalmia case adjourned to June 21

The CBI Special court on Friday adjourned the hearing of the Dalmia cements case to June 21. 

The CBI filed a memo in the special court seeking former Home minister Sabita Indra Reddy  custody in connection with Dalmia cements case. The CBI mentioned her as accused in the chargesheet in Dalmia case. She left the court in a specially arranged convoy soon after the court adjourned the hearing in the case. It was felt at one stage that she may be remanded to custody, but the court did not take a decision on the memo filed by CBI. A decision on the memo was expected in the next hearing on June 21.

The CBI also filed a memo in the court for judicial custody of and revenue minister Dharmana Prasada Rao. IAS officer Sri Lakshmi arrived at the court in an ambulance and she was taken to jail later. All the 12 members figured in the chargesheet appeared before the court. 

Jagan allowed to interact with family members

The CBI court on Friday allowed Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to spend one hour with his family members at the court.
